Hi everyone!

These storms could bring:

Not all areas will see storms, but stay weather alert tonight and be sure to have a way to receive warnings while you’re sleeping (a weather radio or app notifications are great tools).
Futurecast Breakdown
-
This Afternoon: Sunny skies with just a few fair-weather clouds. Dry conditions continue, with temps topping out in the mid to upper 80s, and some isolated spots possibly hitting 90°.
-
Heat Index: Thanks to high humidity, it’ll feel more like the mid to upper 90s — so stay hydrated if you’re heading out!
-
Evening Plans: Still dry through dinner and high school football kickoff. Temps will hover near 80° by 8 PM, so it’s a warm but pleasant evening ahead.
-
Overnight: Storms likely after 10 PM — not all models are agreeing on intensity or coverage, but scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected. Keep an eye on updates later tonight.

Saturday Forecast
We’ll start the day with lingering showers, mainly through the morning to early afternoon (around 2–3 PM). By kickoff for UT football, most of that rain should be gone!
-
Tailgating: Pack the poncho just in case — a stray shower can’t be ruled out
-
Kickoff Weather: Dry skies expected with temps in the mid to upper 70s
-
Evening: Much drier air moves in, setting us up for a beautiful end to the weekend

Lower humidity

Crisp, cool mornings and comfortable afternoons — perfect early fall weather!
