MUCH NEED RAIN MOVES OUT WITH SUNSHINE MOVING IN

I hope you got a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather this past weekend.
Today we started off with some good old rain!  And much needed rain. All of this will help in fighting the ongoing drought in East Tennessee. As we progress through the day today, expect clearing skies which means abundant afternoon sunshine. Today will be a little cooler than Sunday with highs in the mid 60s.
As we progress into the evening hours, our first of two weak waves move in. That just means we’ll see a few more clouds through the evening hours. Which, may give us a great sunset this evening.
Make it a great day!

TWO WAVES MOVE IN TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY

As I mentioned earlier, we will have a couple of ripples in the atmosphere that will bring more clouds than anything else to East Tennessee. Do we have a chance for an isolated shower, yes. But, mainly across the Tennessee/Kentucky border. Behind cold the wave on Tuesday, we’ll see a dip in those afternoon highs again.

ALL EYES ON NEXT SUNDAY AS A STRONGER STORM MOVES OUR WAY

If you love the weekend’s and the outdoors or if you have events going on or just wanting to get yardwork done, you need to pay attention to Sundays forecast. As of now, Saturday will be the best day of the weekend. The Storm Prediction Center has already issued a risk level for severe weather on Sunday, March 30, 2025!
What does this mean?
Th 15 percent probability means that severe storms are possible within 25 miles of any given point in the area shaded in yellow. This will change over time, so make sure to check back in before the weekend!
