The Witcher Weather Watchers are a passionate community of East Tennesseans who love weather just as much as we do. From snow lovers on the Plateau to storm chasers in the Valley and mountain watchers in the Smokies, this group brings together local residents who want to play an active role in supporting eastTNweather and keeping our communities informed.

As a Weather Watcher, you become part of a private, dedicated team working directly with Meteorologist Mike Witcher and the eastTNweather crew. You’ll help share real-time weather information before, during, and after storms, providing hyper-local updates that help us tell the most accurate weather story for East Tennessee.

And during severe weather events, you may even join Mike LIVE on the 24/7 eastTNweather broadcast to share what you’re seeing from your location.

How to Join the Witcher Weather Watchers

1 Take the Online Training Course

Complete the official Weather Watcher online course here: Official Course.

2 Email Your Certification

Once you finish the course, email your certificate and phone number to Mike.

3 Get Added to the Private Group

Mike will reach out and get you added to our private Weather Watcher chat, where you’ll receive updates, share reports, and connect with fellow weather enthusiasts.
