A COLD START, BUT WARMER WEATHER RETURNS
WOW… those morning lows cut right into you thanks to a cold front and clearing skies. Watch for areas of frost as temperatures start off in the 20s and 30s. We’ll have tons of morning sunshine, but high clouds will creep back in through the afternoon. Lunch time temps will be hovering in the 40s. So yeah, you’ll still need those jackets. But, afternoon highs climb right back into the upper 50s. Better than those 40s we had yesterday.
Make it a great day!

A WONDERFUL WEEKEND AHEAD
High pressure is the name of the game this weekend. We’ll warm from the 50s today to the 60s Saturday and 70s on Sunday.
Here are a few more details
We start Saturday off on the chilly side, but not as cold as this morning thanks to some high clouds heading our way through the overnight hours. That’s due to a weak wave across the Great Lakes. Through the day on Saturday, we’ll see increasing sunshine. The wind will pick up through the day. Expect a westerly wind of 5-15 mph, gusting to 25 mph.
High pressure moves off to the east coast on Sunday. That’s going to allow a cold front to approach. So, expect increasing high clouds and a lowering of the clouds through the afternoon and evening. The cold front will bring a line of showers and thunderstorms through Monday morning. I don’t anticipate much in the way of severe weather for now, but some gusty wind and locally rain will likely accompany the cold front.

LOOKING AHEAD INTO NEXT WEEK
I have some good news to pass along. Our Sunday night cold front will not bring in colder air. Actually, temperatures will stay relatively average, if not above average. Another weak wave moves through in the middle of the week, but it doesn’t appear it has a ton of moisture with it.
