The weather pattern is transitioning in a big way.
- A departing trough that kept us near average is moving out
- A strong ridge of high pressure is building in
- This setup brings sinking air, sunshine, and warming temperatures
Bottom line: quieter, warmer, and drier weather is here to stay.
Increasing Moisture (Slowly)
We’re starting to see a subtle shift in moisture.
- Slight increase in dew points already underway
- Still comfortable today and tomorrow
- More noticeable humidity arrives this weekend
This added moisture will help reduce fire danger compared to earlier this week.

Another great spring day across East Tennessee.

- Afternoon highs: Low to mid 70s
